About
Who makes the SPC Lab
The SPC Lab is a free resource published by Vegas Flooring Outlet, a Las Vegas flooring store. We built it to answer the SPC questions we hear every day, in more depth than a showroom conversation allows.
The publisher
Vegas Flooring Outlet is a Las Vegas flooring store with 14+ years in business. Its Nevada contractor licenses are C-16/C-20 (C-16 #0079055 · C-20 #0079667). Locals have named it Best of Las Vegas 8 years, and its crews take residential and commercial work statewide, across all of Nevada.
Showroom: 4039 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas NV 89102. Phone: 702.685.8880. Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM · Sat 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM · Sun closed.

Why a store publishes a neutral guide
Because informed shoppers are better customers. The Lab explains SPC honestly, including when another floor is the better choice, and its buying checklist is written so you can use it at any store. The Lab does not list prices or products; those live on Vegas Flooring Outlet's own site.
Editorial policy
- Written by Vegas Flooring Outlet from everyday installation and sales experience, and checked against manufacturer installation guides and published standards
- Numbers need a source. Any measurement or limit on the site cites its source on the page. When a number depends on the product, we say so and point you to that product's guide
- Illustrations are labeled. The 3D Lab scenes and drawings are illustrations, often exaggerated so you can see what is happening. They are not photos or test footage
- No fake urgency, no invented reviews, and claims about Vegas Flooring Outlet are limited to facts the company can stand behind
- Corrections. If something here is wrong or out of date, call 702.685.8880 and we will fix it. Each page shows the date it was last updated
How the 3D Lab works
The Lab's scenes are drawn in your browser with WebGL, and they only load when you tap "Open the 3D Lab." If your device asks for reduced motion, has data saver on, or does not support WebGL2, the Lab stays off and shows the drawings instead. Everything the scenes teach is also written in the text of each page. This site uses no tracking cookies and no analytics scripts.
